Conclusion

What I did to research my Famous Person:
To research my Famous person I requested books on Leonardo da Vinci at my Local library and also used alot of websites. I mostly didn't copy and paste the information I found. I'd probably say that I only copied and pasted 20% of the information I found but otherwise I re-worded the entire text in the paragraph.

What I like about my CAT assignment:
I like that my CAT assignment is an online blog because I enjoy using the computer. I had alot of fun creating this blog on Leonardo da Vinci. My favourite fact about him was that he wrote in mirror language which could only be decoded through a mirror.

How I could Improve my Assignment:
I think my CAT assignment could be more organised and neat so it would be easier for other people to know where the conclusion is and where the other information is. I could have also used more books instead of using the Internet as my main source of research. I also could have used my time more wisely because I sometimes got distracted by other websites on the Internet.

My Opinion - I believe

I believe that Leonardo da Vinci was a great genius of the time of Renaissance and that his works influenced many people. I believe he was gifted and talented from the day he was born and that he inspired many people from his time and from our time today. I believe that he was a very powerful person in his time which meant that if any of his secrets would be revealed alot of people would pay attention to what his secret inventions were.

Leonardo is one of my personal role models because he was a genius who created things and found out information people couldn't find out until later on from his time.

Unfinshed paintings

4 ) Some of Leonardos paintings remain unfinished. Why?

Leonardo's interests were so broad, and he was so often compelled by new subjects, that he usually failed to finish what he started. This lack of "stick-to-it-ness" resulted in his completing only about six works in these 17 years, including "The Last Supper" and "The Virgin on the Rocks," and he left dozens of paintings and projects unfinished or unrealized.

He spent most of his time studying science, either by going out into nature and observing things or by locking himself away in his workshop cutting up bodies or pondering universal truths.

Handwriting

3 ) Why did Leonardo write in way that could only be decoded from a mirror?

In an era when left-handedness was considered the devil's work and lefties were often forced to use their right hand, Leonardo was an unrepentant southpaw. It has been suggested that this "difference" was an element of his genius, since his detachment allowed him to see beyond the ordinary. He even wrote backwards, and his writings are easily deciphered only with a mirror. This was probably also to keep his notes a secret.

Inspiration

2 ) What inspired Leonardo da Vinci to accomplish such great things during the time of Renaissance?

Leonardo was fascinated by the phenomenon of flight. Leonardo produced detailed studies of the flight of birds, and plans for several flying machines, including a helicopter powered by four men (which would not have worked since the body of the craft would have rotated) and a light hang-glider which could have flown.

Leonardo also had an Inspiration for drawing Animals. He loved to draw them. Some of the people that he learned from were famous. Some of them were scholars, kings, and other artists. Leonardos Father showed his paintings to an artist named Andrea Del Verroccardo for some painting tips. From all the advice he got he created some great paintings.
